The PhD in Management Specialized in Education program is designed for education professionals to have the opportunity to engage in systematic, critical, and analytic inquiry into the theory and practice of educational leadership and management across the whole range of educational institutions and related organizations. It intends to complement the existing knowledge, skills, competencies, and attitude with up-to-date theories, concepts, and competencies in the various areas of educational management and leadership through the adoption of innovative and technology–enabled teaching–learning strategies, independent study, and lifelong learning experiences.

Three to five years after graduation, alumni of PhD in Management Specialized in Education shall: 

  • Become professionally competent school executives serving the local, national and global community. 
  • Develop strategic, transformational, and entrepreneurial mindset in actual work and practice.
  • Contribute to the development of educational management through research and innovation.

By the time of graduation, PhD in Management Specialized in Education shall have the ability to: 

  • Demonstrate a strong theoretical understanding of concepts, approaches, and trends in leading and managing educational institutions. 
  • Design and implement strategies that are responsive to the needs of 21st–century schools. 
  • Utilize technology to enhance school management and operations. 
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative methods in conducting educational researches. 
  • Practice ethical behavior for organizational effectiveness and sustainability.
