LPU Holds ETEEAP Forum
LPU Batangas spearheaded a forum on the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) on November 26,2014. Guests from the leading industries in the Region came to learn more about ETEEAP and how can this be of help to their employees and organizations in general.
The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) is an educational assessment scheme that recognizes knowledge, skills, and prior learning obtained by individuals from non-formal and informal education experiences. It is a comprehensive educational assessment program at the tertiary level that recognizes, accredits and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, attitudes and values gained by individuals from relevant work. It is implemented through deputized higher education institutions that shall award the appropriate college degree
LPU Batangas invited Dr. Amelia A. Biglete, Director IV, Office of Programs and Standards Development of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as the resource person. Also present in the event is Mrs. Gloria Obcena, CHED Senior Education Program Specialist. They were received by LPU Officials headed by its Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academics and Research who also gaved the welcome remarks.
