LPU-B Bags DOST’s SIBOL Award

LPU-B bagged the First Prize, as Outstanding Creative Research for College (SIBOL AWARD) in the Regional Invention Contest and Exhibit (RICE) 2017 of the Department of Science of Technology (DOST) held at Robinson’s Place, Dasmariñas from October 11-13, 2017.

The winning project titled “MCU-Based Automatic Anti-Drunk Driving Device for Motorcycle” was authored by BS Computer Engineering students of the College of Engineering namely: Jerome D. Arenas, Jonathan L. Reglos, and Jeanie M. Matibag with their adviser, Engr. Evelyn L. De Castro. The same team will represent the region in the National Invention Contest and Exhibit (NICE) come 2018. #TakingTheLead #ChooseLPUBatangas
