UMTC Hands Over Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator to LPU Batangas
March 1, 2018 marks an auspicious blessed day for LPU-Batangas, particularly for the Lyceum International Maritime Academy (LIMA) because this is the day when its valued partner in maritime Education the UNITED MARINE TRAINING CENTER (UMTC) a private maritime training center which is the training arm of MARLOW NAVIGATION CO. Ltd. handed over to LPU the ARI LIQUID CARGO HANDLING SIMULATOR CARGOSIM 2009 MULTI-MODEL ADVANCED, a very expensive cargo handling simulator aboard sea vessel. A deed of donation, as well as memorandum of agreement, were inked by LPU and UMTC. LPU was represented by EVP Dr. Esmenia R. Javier, SVP Mr. Erick Badillo, VPAR Dr. Cecille Pring, and Dean of Maritime Education, Capt. Alex Gonzales. Present during the signing and actual turn-over of the simulator were esteemed officials of UMTC, headed by its President Mr. Antonio Galvez, Jr. and the Chairman and President of Marlow Navigation.
