With the aim of fostering creativity and collaboration while upholding a culture of quality and excellence, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas (LPU-B) celebrated the Quality and Innovation Week 2024 on November 25 and 27. Themed “Fusing Technology, Innovation, and Industry for Future Workforce,” the event featured a series of competitions showcasing the ingenuity of the Lycean community that emphasized transformative ideas and solutions. The celebration was marked by empowering messages from university leaders, with Dr. Cecil C. Pring inspiring attendees to embrace continuous improvement and innovation as core values.
The first day featured engaging competitions, where students and employees showcased their creativity and teamwork through initiatives aimed at organizational excellence and impactful suggestions for improvement. These activities highlighted the university’s drive for innovation and its recognition of outstanding contributions. Competitions included the Best Scoreboard and Best 7S Workplace for all work units, and Best Wise Innovations and Suggestions by Happy Employees and Students (WISHES) for the entire community.
The week concluded on November 27 with the Educational Organization Policy Recitation and recognition to work units with outstanding performance on specific areas designed to inspire and empower Lyceans, and explore new ideas and solutions to reinforce the importance of collaboration in driving meaningful change.
This annual celebration stands as a testament to LPU-B’s commitment to excellence and forward-thinking approaches, positioning the university as a leader in quality education and innovation.
