We are thrilled to announce that Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas (LPU-Batangas) has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, on May 20, 2024. This partnership marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing exceptional learning opportunities and practical experiences for our students.
In collaboration with Group Tours Specialists, Inc., this agreement paves the way for students enrolled in our Tourism and Hospitality Management Programs to gain invaluable internship and workplace training experience within the stunning province of Palawan. Known for its pristine beaches, lush landscapes, and vibrant tourism industry, Puerto Princesa offers an ideal setting for Lyceans to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world environments.
A Gateway to Hands-On Learning
This partnership will enable our students to immerse themselves in various aspects of tourism and hospitality management, from front-line customer service roles to behind-the-scenes operational duties. By working directly within the industry, students will develop critical skills, enhance their professional competencies, and build networks that will be instrumental in their future careers.
