Marco Vilog is 2nd Lycean Medalist in the SEA Games
For the second time, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas produced a silver medalist in the Southeast Asian Games courtesy of Marco R. Vilog. He placed second in the 800m run in the 29th Southeast Asian Games held last August 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Vilog is a BS Criminology alumnus (Batch 2016) and a former member of the LPU-B Athletics team for 5 years was a consistent medalist in the PRISAA National Games. He ran in the 800m, 1500m and in the relays. While in college, Marco continued to hone his skills by joining other running competitions like the Philippine National Games, PATAFA Weekend Competition, and Milo Marathon to name a few.
After his graduation, Marco qualified to be a member of the Philippine Track and Field Team. The 29th SEA Games was his first international competition.
Marco was born on July 30, 1991, in Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro to Conrado Vilog and Corazon Ragasa and the youngest among 4 siblings.
