
The Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) has once again secured its place among the leading higher education institutions in the region, as recognized in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings: Asia 2026. This marks the sixth consecutive year that LPU has been included in the prestigious regional ranking, underscoring its sustained commitment to academic quality, research development, and global engagement.
In the latest rankings, LPU placed 14th among universities in the Philippines and 161st in South-Eastern Asia, reflecting the institution’s continued growth and increasing recognition within the Asian higher education landscape. The QS Asia rankings evaluate universities based on key indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty qualifications, research output, internationalization, and institutional impact.
University officials noted that this achievement affirms LPU’s ongoing efforts to enhance its academic programs, strengthen research initiatives, and foster industry partnerships that support student success and employability.
