LPU-BATANGAS SIGNS UP FOR UCBL
Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas became the 8th member-school of the Universities and Colleges Basketball League (UCBL) as it makes its debut in the league which is set to open on September 7, 2017, at the Olivarez Coliseum, Sucat, Parañaque City. LPU-Batangas joins Bulacan State University, Centro Escolar University, Colegio de San Lorenzo, Diliman College, Olivarez College, Technological Institute of the Philippines and the University of Batangas for the 2nd Season.
The League’s games will be held at Olivarez Coliseum in Parañaque City every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 12:00 nn-4:00 pm with same day telecast over IBC 13 from 8:00pm-12:00mn.
LPU-Batangas Pirates is composed of Jay Reman Axalan, Bryan Buen, Justin Lord Eranes, Leo Chris Fernandez, Aliane August Lapasaran, Robert Ruzzel Olarte, Rommel Saliente (Team Captain), Eddie Solitario Jr., John Benedict Valencia, John Patrick Villaluna and John Weiland Villanueva. Mr. Danilo Acero is the Team Coach. Dr. Fe R. Medina is LPU-B representative to the UCBL Core Group while Mr. Frederick Badillo, Senior Vice President is the Team Manager.

September 16 Saturday 2:00 pm vs Olivarez College
September 25 Monday 12:00nn vs University of Batangas
September 28 Thursday 2:00 pm vs Technological Institute of the Philippines
October 2 Monday 12:00 nn vs Diliman College
October 7 Saturday 12:00 nn vs Bulacan State University
LPU-Batangas will also provide the half-time presentation on September 14, 28 and October 2.
