A team of BS Pharmacy students from the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas (LPU-B) made a remarkable finish as first runner-up at the 2025 National Pharmacy Quiz Bee, showcasing exceptional knowledge and quick thinking throughout the competition.

The team, composed of Sean Jan D. Ilagan, Maxine Cerafi K. Valle, Lowell Adrien M. Manalo, and Sandra Mae B. Huerto, demonstrated their expertise in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and related fields, securing a strong position against top pharmacy schools nationwide.
Their success is credited to the support and guidance of their coaches, Ms. Ma. Crisostoma L. Exconde, RPh, MD, FPOGS, and assistant coach Ms. Ma. Therese H. Garcia, RPh, MAELM. Exconde’s medical background and Garcia’s expertise in medical education played a crucial role in the team’s preparation, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to excel in the highly competitive event.
The National Pharmacy Quiz Bee is known for its rigorous questions and challenging format, testing the depth of participants’ understanding of pharmaceutical sciences and clinical practice. LPU-B’s strong performance not only reflects the students’ dedication and hard work but also underscores the high quality of pharmacy education at LPU-B.
