LPU-Batangas, through its College of Nursing, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Philippine Movement for Climate Justice, August 10.
Through this partnership, both parties shall provide information on climate change, climate emergency, and climate justice to raise climate awareness among students and stakeholders. This also entails a research endeavour tackling and assessing the health impacts of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to people.
PMCJ was represented by Mr. Larry Pascua, Senior Energy Program Officer and Mr. Reydel Panopio, Batangas Campaign Head & Paralegal Officer.
On the other hand, LPU-B was represented by Dr. Cecilia Pring, Vice President for Academics & Research & Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Maribeth Buenviaje, Executive Director of Strategic Communications, Linkages, and International Affairs Office, and Dr. Bella Magnaye, Asst. Dean of the College of Nursing.
