Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas (LPU-B) reached another significant milestone on December 10, 2024, during the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA, Inc.) Awards Ceremony held at Novotel Manila Araneta City.
LPU-B was honored by PACUCOA for being granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This designation is one of the highest recognitions given to higher education institutions in the Philippines, reflecting exceptional performance in governance, academic programs, and community engagement. It reinforces LPU-B’s reputation as a leader in delivering quality education and preparing students for global challenges.
In addition, LPU-B was also honored for its Full Accreditation from the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE).
Furthermore, LPU-B emerged as the First Prize Winner in the Search for the Best Community Outreach/Extension Program. Out of 25 outstanding entries from universities and colleges across the Philippines, LPU-B’s innovative and impactful initiatives in community engagement stood out, demonstrating its dedication to creating meaningful societal impact.
