Providing a pivotal space for empowerment, LPU-Batangas kicked-off Women’s Month with “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”, at the Freedom hall, LPU-Batangas Main Campus, March 1, 2024.
The Honorable Batangas City Mayor Beverley Rose Dimacuha shared powerful insights into the strength, grace, and achievements of empowered women. From compelling discussions with trailblazing leaders to inspiring stories of resilience and triumph, every moment encapsulated the essence of unity and collaboration.
Dr. Cecilia Pring, Vice President for Academic & Research, and Mr. Paolo Laurel, Vice President for Institutional Affairs, were also present to share inspiring messages, emphasizing the significance of gender equality in shaping a better future.
Additionally, the event was made possible through the concerted efforts of the Gender and Development and Community Extension Offices, underscoring the university’s commitment to advancing gender equality and inclusivity in all spheres of society.
As attendees reflected on these experiences, they were reminded of the importance of amplifying unheard voices, dismantling systemic barriers, and creating pathways for a more inclusive society.
