Counseling and Testing Center

Counseling sessions are held face-to-face or via tele counseling, depending on the student’s preferences and availability. We provide a conducive and safe environment in which clients/counselees can share their thoughts, ideas and feelings openly, knowing they will be listened to with respect and empathy.

CATC also caters to Lyceans who need further referral to experts. This is to ensure that students can get the appropriate and necessary help they need.

This program is designed to assist students determine their own strengths, weaknesses, interests, personalities, and values. These allows them to strengthen their career plan and achieve their future career/ professional goals.

This program is provided when a Lycean student is referred by a faculty/college department and other work units. Counseling appointments are then scheduled based on the student’s preference and convenience.

CATC also serves as the university’s central testing center for new or entering students.

Different psychological tests are also administered across year levels. The test results are then interpreted and explained to the students to help them better understand themselves. Moreover, interventions are facilitated as the need arise.

CATC provides Good Moral Certification (GMC) for all students (currently enrolled or former students) and alumni of Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas.
