CEAS Student Leads this Year’s Honorees at LPU Awards of Excellence
On its 11th year a Lycean from the College of Education, Arts and Sciences emerged as a top honoree at the LPU Awards of Excellence 2018. Georjhia Czarinah Malaluan was hailed as Top 1 Sotero H. Laurel (SHL) Outstanding Student followed by Steven Torralba (Top 2), Wendy Aline Abel (Top 3), Lorenzo Mateos (Top 4) and Jeriel Platino (Top 5).
Other Lyceans who were awarded as Exemplary students were: Hazel Anne Dimaculangan (Top 6), Lander Joseph Ilagan (Top 7), Ryan Christopher Soriao (Top 8), Angela Zyvellia Bagos (Top 9) and Jigg Malone De Claro (Top 10). These awardees were subjected to a meticulous screening and were judged based on their academics, extra-curricular and community extension activities, and panel interview.
More so Outstanding Recognized Student Organizations of the Year were also given recognition they are as follows: Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students (PSCAS)-Top 1, CITHM Student Council-Top 2, Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA)- Top 3, Association of Future Finance Professionals (AFFP)- Top 4, Lyceum Tourism Society (LTS)- Top 5, Christ’s Youth in Action (CYA)- Top 6, Alliance of Future Cruise Liners (AFCL)-Top 7, Junior Association of E-Business Administration (JAEBA)-Top 8 and Psychology Association (PSYCHASS)-Top 9.
The LPU Awards of Excellence is spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs and the Lyceum Supreme Student Council.
The Top 3 SHL Outstanding students will represent LPU Batangas in the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) Regional Search.
