
In a landmark collaboration, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bauan, Batangas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) of the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas (LPU-B) on January 17, 2025. The partnership aims to strengthen the tourism and hospitality sectors in Bauan, Batangas, a municipality renowned for its cultural heritage and scenic attractions.


The MOU, signed during a formal ceremony attended by Honorable Bauan Municipal Mayor Ryanh M. Dolor, along with local officials, and representatives from LPU-B, establishes the foundation for collaborative initiatives. These include skill development programs, internships, and community-based tourism projects. CITHM’s students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world experiences, contributing to the sustainable development of Bauan’s tourism industry.
