Ahoy, Pirates!
Fresh from First Day Hype, Viva Larga Pirata 2022, a grand welcoming event, was held last August 31 to usher freshies aboard LPU-B.
Our lively freshmen paraded around the campus, clustered with their respective colleges. They then went through Pirates’ Passage, under the arch of sabers held by our own LIMA cadets. After the introduction of each department, the games began.
Raffle prizes were also given to random freshmen through an electronic draw. Games and raffle winners received gift checks and GCash. Oath-taking of different bodies of student leaders was also held.
Another highlight of the day is the awarding of cheque for Engr. Rocky De Peralta, Top 5 in the August 2022 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination.
The event was made possible through the efforts of the Strategic Communications, Linkages, and International Affairs Office, as well as the LPU Culture & Arts Office.
