At LPU Batangas, we are committed to promoting decent work and economic growth for our employees and communities. We uphold fair employment practices and ensure that a significant proportion of our employees are on secure contracts. Additionally, we prioritize graduate employability through industry-aligned programs and partnerships.
To support economic growth, we empower our students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the workforce. Our College of Business Administration offers social entrepreneurship programs and initiatives to promote economic development at the local level. Furthermore, we collaborate with industry partners to provide internship opportunities and real-world experiences for our students, preparing them for successful careers in their chosen fields. Through these efforts, we contribute to economic growth and prosperity in our region and beyond.
Fair employment practices ensure that all employees are treated equitably and with respect, regardless of gender, race, or background. This initiative focuses on implementing fair hiring processes, equitable pay, safe working conditions, and opportunities for professional development, promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
Increasing the proportion of employees on secure contracts enhances job stability and security. By providing long-term contracts and reducing reliance on temporary or precarious employment, this initiative supports workers’ rights and contributes to economic stability and productivity.
Enhancing graduate employability involves equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary for the job market. This project includes career counseling, internships, job placement programs, and industry partnerships, ensuring that graduates can transition smoothly into the workforce and contribute to economic development.
The CBA Council Social Entrepreneurship initiative encourages innovative business solutions that address social challenges. By supporting social enterprises, providing training, and facilitating access to funding, this project fosters economic growth and creates job opportunities while addressing community needs and promoting social well-being.
