Sustainable Development Goal 2

We believe in promoting proper nutrition and food security for all. Our community education programs raise awareness about proper nutrition, while we provide sustainable food choices for our students and employees. Through our nutrition programs, we extend our efforts to adopted communities to ensure that no one goes hungry.

To address food insecurity, we collaborate with local farmers and agricultural cooperatives to source fresh and locally grown produce for our campus cafeterias. Additionally, our nutrition program includes initiatives such as community gardens and cooking workshops, empowering individuals to make healthy food choices and reduce food wastage.

1.Feeding Program

Feeding Program

The “Feeding Program” project promotes long-term food security while meeting urgent nutritional requirements. Through this program, disadvantaged groups in underserved communities—children and the elderly in particular—are given wholesome meals. In order to prevent malnutrition and associated health problems, the program makes sure that nutritious food is accessible. In order to enable communities to grow their own food and maintain a balanced diet and help end hunger and promote wellbeing, the initiative also includes teaching components on sustainable farming methods and nutrition.

2.GREEN Campaign

GREEN Campaign

Through instruction and hands-on training, the “Seminar on Greenhouse Management and Vegetable Production” project seeks to improve regional food systems. Participants will leave this program with a thorough understanding of advanced greenhouse procedures, effective resource management, and high-yield vegetable production strategies. The project assures a consistent supply of nutrient-dense food, boosts crop yield, and promotes sustainable farming methods by providing farmers and aspiring agriculturists with these skills. In the end, this program helps the community’s sustainable agricultural development, decreases hunger, and enhances nutrition.
