New Microsoft Certified Educators and Microsoft Technology Associates
Selected LPU Batangas faculty members of the College of Computer Studies and Administrative Personnel from the Management Information Systems passed the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) and Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) exams last April 17, 2017. They are as follows:
- Emmanuel Dennis M. Aguda, MTA
- Elmer A. Badillo, MTA
- Ricardo C. Cena, MCE/ MTA
- Mischelle A. Esguerra, MCE
- Elaine Joy J. Ilao, MCE
- Abner B. Tupas, MTA
MCEs are those who have educator technology literacy competencies in six content areas that are mapped to the UNESCO ICT Competency framework for Teachers. These six areas include: Curriculum and Assessment; Education Policy; ICT/Technology tools; Organization and Administration; Pedagogy and Professional development. MTAs on the other hand, are those individuals who have a wide grasp of fundamental technical concepts, core technical knowledge and technical credibility.
