Lycean vies for Miss World Philippines 2014 Crown
Ms. Rachelle Emmylou Carandang, a sophomore BS Customs Administration student of LPU Batangas, qualified as one of the official candidates of Ms. World Philippines 2014. She will be competing with 25 other candidates representing the different parts of the country and also the Filipino communities abroad in a grand pageant night at the MOA Arena on October 12, 2014.
LPU Batangas is truly proud of Ms. Carandang for not only representing the province but more so representing every Lycean who dreams of becoming an ambassador of goodwill of the Philippines to the world.
The reigning Ms World is also a Filipina, Ms. Megan Young.
