Lycean chosen as one of BPI’s Ten Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children of 2014
Cadet Michael John Dacuray of the Lyceum of the Philippines University was chosen as one of the Bank of the Philippine Islands’ (BPI) Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children for 2014.
This prestigious search aims to instill pride with the Expat Pinoy children and inspire them to achieve their dreams despite the physical absence of their parents who are working overseas. Cdt. Dacuray joins the nine other finalists from all over the Philippines who will receive a grant of fifty thousand pesos (50,000 Php).
Finalists were chosen based on their academic standing, talent and leadership. Cdt. Dacuray is a 3rd year BS Marine Transportation student and currently the Governor of the Lyceum International Maritime Academy Student Council.
The search for BPI Outstanding Expat Pinoy Children is now on its eight year.
