LPU Marketing Students Bag Championship Twice in a Row
Students from the College of Business Administration (major in Marketing) emerged as national champions for the second time in the 2014 COMGUILD TV Commercial Teaser contest during the 5th Annual Conference of Marketing, Advertising and Business Administration Students of the Philippines.
Besting seventeen (17) schools in the country, LPU-Batangas bagged the Championship trophy. It was then followed by Holy Angel University-2nd place, University of Northern Philippines-3rd place, University of La Sallette-4th place and Lorma College-5th place.
Student team members who conceptualized and produced the winning teaser were: Nieca Mercado, Cristina Abarientos, Ellen Gonzalvo, Karren Abanto, Jennika Contreras, Peter De Villa, Grace Fabon, Klarise Ganoon, Kelvin ANdell Garais, Jermelyn Melo, Harietter Mintu and Archli Enriquez. The team was coached by Mr. Dan Ragot who is also the Junior Marketing Association Adviser and Mrs. Cynthia Martinez, faculty member of Mass Communication.
The LPU team also won as CHAMPION in the same contest in 2013. The awarding was held at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, February 9, 2014.
