LPU-Batangas Conducts Fire Drills in all Campuses

LPU students and personnel participated in the series of fire drills in coordination with the Batangas City Fire Prevention Unit. Evacuation activities of the LIMA, Main, and Riverside campuses were timed per building.  Volunteers were also asked to put out wood and propane fires supervised by the fire marshals.

Dr. Esmenia Javier, LPU-Batangas’ Executive Vice President stressed the importance of the fire drill, because this can save lives during a real catastrophe. The Lyceum of the Philippines University ensures a safe environment for its employees and students through its fire drills and disaster prevention seminars.
