LPU Batangas Attains 9001:2015 ISO Certification
Mrs. Joy Cerrafon and Mr. Randy Magnaye, Auditors from DNV-GL have declared that once again LPU-Batangas has proven to be compliant with the International Organization Standard and it is worthy of being recommended for ISO 9001:2015 Certification. The results of the Transition and Re-Certification Audit conducted on May 7-10, 2018 yielded zero non-conformity, five observations, two opportunities for improvement and eight noteworthy efforts. Among these noteworthy efforts is the use of the new Learning Management System (LMS) tool Blackboard™ which is an indication of the management commitment to continuously improve faculty teaching methodology and strategy, alternative teaching and learning approach for the benefit of LPU-Batangas students. More so, the organization has implemented a more stringent admission and retention policy especially for the board programs (e.g. Criminology and Allied Medical Professions) and to enhance the knowledge and capability of students from the college of maritime education the students are free to use the simulators (guided by the instructors) outside the regular classroom hours.
