LPU alumnus wins Freego Jeans’ Super Shape Me Challenge

LPU Batangas is proud of its alumnus CY Ortega (BS Nursing 2008), a Registered Nurse who was hailed as the male winner of Freego Jeans’ (a local clothing brand) second fitness challenge called #SuperShapeMe together with female winner Alexis Pingol, a Graphic artist from Novaliches.
From almost a thousand entries, Erwan Heusaff of The Fat Kid Inside and Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) superstar Chris Tiu selected 20 people (10 men and 10 women), from different parts of the Philippines. These celebrities personally served as mentors for the contestants’ diet and fitness. #SuperShapeMe Fitness Challenge was completed within a span of sixty days. Ortega lost 38.9 lbs. and 7 inches during the challenge, he is also the recipient the of Under Armour People’s Choice Award. #TakingTheLead
