Internship Office Conducts Work Immersion Orientation for Senior High Students
To develop the Senior High School students’ competencies in their respective areas of specialization and to become familiar with the workplace atmosphere, a first ever work immersion program orientation was held August 18, 2017, at the Freedom Hall.
The said orientation was attended by Grade 12 students together with their respective parents as well as the different representatives of partner institutions from both private companies and government units in the province of Batangas. They are as follows: TeleTech, AG&P, Bangko Kabayan, Juan Carlo the Caterer, Universal Robina Corporation, Cozy Travel and Tours, GML Travel and Tours, Threesixty Travel and Tours and 2GO Group Inc. Local Government Units were from the municipalities of Balayan, Lipa, Lemery, San Jose, San Luis, and San Pascual. Also present was Ms. Magielyn Babao, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) II, who represented the Department of Education- Division of Batangas. During the orientation, students and parents were given the opportunity to ask questions and clarify concerns regarding the Work Immersion Program.
The orientation was conducted by the Internship Office headed by its Director, Ms. Gileth Maraquilla and the LPU High School Principal, Ms. Vivian Perez.
