ICpEP Region 4A Student Edition-3rd General Assembly and CpE Challenge
Computer Engineering students from twenty-two (22) affiliated schools of the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines ICpEP Region 4A (student edition) attended the 3rd General Assembly and CpE Challenge with the theme “Creating, Professionals towards Excellence” last Sept 29, 2017, at Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, Batangas City.
One of the highlights of the general assembly was the seminar with topics on Raspberry pi with Python, Cybersecurity, Android Development and Career of Future Computer Engineers. Simultaneous with the general assembly was the CpE Challenge which consisted of Quiz Bowl, Programming and Logic Circuit Design Competitions where nine (9) schools participated in each of these categories. Proclaimed winners will be the representatives to the ICpEP National Competition to be held in Bicol on November 21-24, 2017. Another highlight was the Got Talent competition where students showcased their cultural talents. Induction of the newly elected student officers and recognition of outgoing officers also transpired in the event.
Organized by ICpEP.se in cooperation with Lyceum Computer Engineering Students Society (LYCOESS) of LPU-B, the said activity certainly achieved its objectives of establishing strong cooperative linkages and camaraderie among computer engineering students in the region, encouraging students to strive for excellence in computer engineering, promoting the values of perseverance, honesty, and teamwork and updating participants on the latest / future trends in the industry.
