The Master in Public Administration Program (MPA) is a graduate degree program for professionals and students who would like to work in government or engage in public service and non-profit organizations.  The program is designed to provide excellent foundations for existing and potential public administrators.  For those already working in those areas, the curriculum aims to further enhance their skills in governance.

THREE (3) TO FIVE (5) YEARS AFTER GRADUATION, ALUMNI OF MASTER IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION SHALL:

  • Become managers and supervisors of government agencies and public enterprise who possess professional skills.
  • Apply research skills in solving public administration concerns.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the community through social responsibility.

BY THE TIME OF GRADUATION, MASTER IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS SHALL HAVE THE ABILITY TO:

  • Apply concepts, principles, and theories of public administration with the aid of information and communication technology.
  • Evaluate organization problems by applying public administration theory to formulate effective responses and solutions.
  • Apply democratic principles and professional ideals in managing both a diverse workforce and serving a diverse citizenry.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in communicating with others.
  • Employ qualitative and quantitative techniques in the conduct of public administration researches.
  • Lead and manage in public and non-profit organization.
