PLT Ponciano T. Ebora Jr.
BS Criminology 2007
Being the fourth child of PCAPT Ponciano M. Ebora and Dolores T. Ebora, it is not my dream as a kid to become a Police Officer but through my father, I was inspired to be of service to the people. It was the year 2003 when I first stepped at Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas as a freshman Criminology student and four (4) years after I was able to graduate and pass the Criminologist Licensure examination. It was also the same year when I entered the Police Service as a Police Non-Commissioned Officer, August 11, 2007, to be exact. My first assignment was at the Regional Mobile Group IV-A for more than four years and at a young age, I was also assigned at Jolo, Sulu in Mindanao for Six (6) months. My second assignment was at the Batangas Police Provincial Office as a Junior Aide of the Provincial Director way back 2011 to 2013 before I was assigned at the Office of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division IV-A where I decided to apply for Lateral Entry (Police Commissioned Officer) and was able to make it through God’s Grace. Being in the Philippine National Police for thirteen years now, I have received different awards such as Medalya ng Paglilingkod sa Luzon, Medalya ng Paglilingkod sa Mindanao, Medalya ng Paglilingkod sa Santo Papa, Medalya ng Kasanayan, Medalya ng Papuri, Medalya ng Mabuting Asal, Meadalya ng Pagtulong sa Nasalanta, etc. I also took different mandatory and specialized courses like PNP SCOUT, Public Safety Criminal Investigation and Detection Course, Air to Ground Operation Seminar, Public Safety Junior Leadership Course, International Law Enforcement Training, and many others. My foundation as a Police Officer was formed through my schooling at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas where we were taught the theoretical and practical approach to every situation. Therefore, I share my SUCCESS with my Alma Mater. Part of who I am was because of the things that I learned from LPU. Through hard work, perseverance, determination, and lots of prayers, I am where I am right now. I am Police Lieutenant Ponciano Tafalla Ebora Jr., Deputy Chief of Police of Talisay Municipal Police Station, and a proud LYCEAN. #ButiNaLangNagLyceumAko
