It has been 6 months since I first wore my nursing uniform as an official Lycean. At first, I had second thoughts on whether I am really for the Nursing course and future profession. I had a lot of breakdowns and I was drowning in self-doubt. And as the days progressed, I realized how hard it was to be a nursing student. One must really balance his/her priorities well in order to succeed in this field. But somehow, as the months passed, I started to love the challenges that I am experiencing in this course. This was made possible because I had a great set of friends that really inspired me to do well. Luckily, they were not just my friends, they were my family already. Thus, despite all the breakdowns I’ve experienced, I managed to turn my “can’ts” into “cans” and finally had my breakthrough in LPU-Batangas.
