The 15th General Conference of Association of the Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) ended on a high note, with more than 300 Memorandums of Understanding signed among about 30 universities worldwide. The three-day conference, held November 14-16, happened at Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The said conference was attended by academic leaders from several universities, including Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, Davao & Laguna’s President, Dr. Peter Laurel. During the three-day event, the leaders of more than 30 higher education institutions of AUAP from different corners of the world interacted on three topics, and tried to find answers to some of the issues. They are: online to blended learning using technology for higher education, experimental and practical elements in the education system, and project-based teaching.

The primary objective and mission of AUAP are to create a modern and effective platform for the overall development of universities in Asia and the Pacific by fostering cordial relations of mutual understanding and cooperation among the member universities of the organization.
