A new victory was marked by LPU-Batangas as a significant milestone in its aviation education initiatives as Batch Horizon commenced with the inaugural graduates of the International Cabin Crew Training Program celebrating their Completion and Recognition Ceremony on June 23, 2026, at the Mock Aircraft Facility of the Riverside Campus.
The ceremony recognized the successful completion of the first batch of learners who underwent specialized training designed to prepare them for opportunities in the airline and aviation industry. As the inaugural batch of the program, Batch Horizon represents an important step in LPU–Batangas’ continuing efforts to provide industry-focused learning opportunities aligned with the evolving demands of the aviation sector, supporting SDG 4: Quality Education through relevant, practical, and competency-based learning experiences.
Through the International Cabin Crew Training Program, learners were given opportunities to develop knowledge and skills relevant to the responsibilities of cabin crew professionals. The program provides an environment where learners can strengthen their understanding of the airline industry while gaining practical preparation in a setting designed to reflect aspects of the aviation workplace. These opportunities support SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by equipping learners with industry-relevant competencies that can enhance their employability and prepare them for meaningful careers in the airline and aviation sectors.
The use of the University’s Mock Aircraft Facility at the Riverside Campus further supports the program’s industry-oriented approach and contributes to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. By providing a dedicated learning environment where aviation-related training can be contextualized through practical experiences, the facility helps strengthen collaboration between the University and industry stakeholders, bridges theoretical knowledge with workplace-oriented preparation, and enhances the University’s capacity to provide specialized training responsive to the needs of the aviation sector.
The Completion and Recognition Ceremony served not only as a celebration of the learners’ accomplishments but also as a recognition of their dedication throughout the training program. Their completion reflects the value of experiential and industry-responsive education in developing learners who are prepared to meet professional standards and adapt to the demands of a rapidly evolving sector.
