Five-day assessment highlights the University’s commitment to quality, stakeholder engagement, industry-driven education, and continual improvement
Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas (LPU-Batangas) has successfully completed the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Institutional Assessment held from September 7 to 11, 2026, covering its Main, LIMA, and Riverside Campuses.
Guided by the AUN-QA Institutional Assessment Guide Version 3.0, which covers 15 criteria and 60 requirements, the assessment provided an opportunity for LPU-Batangas to demonstrate how its integrated internal quality assurance system supports effective policy implementation, performance monitoring, results evaluation, and continual improvement.
During the visit, the AUN-QA Assessment Team engaged with University leaders, the Governing Board, college deans and department heads, academic and administrative personnel, students, alumni, employers, industry partners, and other stakeholders. The assessment included interviews, site observations, and evidence triangulation based on the University’s Self-Assessment Report, official records, supporting documents, and stakeholder experiences.
With all three campuses included in the assessment, the visit also examined how quality policies and practices are implemented across the institution. It highlighted LPU-Batangas’ efforts to integrate Outcomes-Based Education, stakeholder feedback, data-informed planning, performance monitoring, and continual improvement into its academic and support services.
More than an external review, the assessment served as a collective reflection of the University’s shared commitment to quality and institutional excellence. Its successful completion was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the entire LPU-Batangas family—those who prepared documents and evidence, participated in interviews, coordinated activities, maintained facilities, supported logistics, and contributed in many other meaningful ways.
LPU-Batangas expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the University leadership, faculty members, administrative personnel, students, alumni, employers, industry partners, maintenance and security teams, and everyone who supported the assessment. Their time, candor, cooperation, and dedication helped make the five-day visit a meaningful expression of the University’s culture of quality.
