Following initial talks at the WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai, delegates toured campus facilities and met with senior administration to advance internationalization goals.
In continuous pursuit of expanding its global linkages and cross-border academic cooperation, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas (LPU-B) hosted executive representatives from Hong Kong-based EURAS Consulting Limited for a collaborative meeting on Friday, October 16, 2026, at LPU-Batangas, Main Campus.
The delegation was led by EURAS Consulting Limited Founder Mr. Tim Fischer, alongside Mrs. Vivian Zhang, Mr. Lucas Sai, and Mr. Vincent Zheng. This high-level meeting stemmed from an initial diplomatic courtesy visit made by LPU-Batangas College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM) leaders, Dr. Ryan L. Mejia and Dr. Rhea Corina B. Mejia, to Ms. Myca Magnolia M. Fischer, Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai, during the WorldSkills International Competition in Shanghai, China. The engagement opened doors for institutional networking, culminating in the formal exploratory discussion with EURAS Consulting.
The meeting commenced with an institutional overview of LPU-Batangas, followed by welcome remarks from Senior Vice President Mr. Frederick C. Badillo and Vice President for Academics and Research Dr. Cecilia C. Pring. Discussions focused on identifying strategic alignment in academic and industry partnerships, international networking, and cross-border mobility opportunities aimed at enhancing LPU-B’s global footprint.
Following the discussion, the visiting delegates were guided on a comprehensive campus tour showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM), the College of Nursing (CON), and the College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP).
Through this strategic dialogue, LPU-Batangas reaffirms its commitment to internationalization, fostering cross-border alliances that empower students and faculty through world-class academic standards and industry-relevant global experience.
