BS Criminology 2003

To be a successful Policeman was my dream when I entered my first year at the Lyceum of the Philippines University- Batangas. This University instilled discipline and gave students tools for their chosen career. During my college years as a Criminology student, I met excellent and competent professors who gave their limitless expertise and experiences to enable us to achieve whatever goals we have for the future. The most important thing that I have learned from them was to become passionate about all the things that I do and the desire to not stop in believing that I will achieve the highest peak of my career. Through the skills and knowledge acquired, I am always ready to become a leader and role model to the young ones now.

To reminisce I finished my course Bachelor of Science in Criminology in 2003. Thereafter, I took my board examination in the same year (2003) and fortunately passed it. I was confident with my knowledge honed by the school. My life started to change when I entered as a Police officer in that same year too. After the completion of my training in Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) I was accorded with honor.

For almost seventeen (17) years in service in the Philippine National Police and working at different municipalities holding different designations such as investigator, operation PNCO, Intelligence, patrol officer and field training officer.  There was no time that I wasted for the opportunity, instead I made a way to deliver in my utmost capacity to excel in the field of duty. Through my hard work and perseverance, I reached the rank of Police Senior Master Sergeant (formerly Senior Police Officer 2) before becoming a Police Lieutenant via lateral entrant last March 2019. And as a product of LPU-Batangas College of Criminology (now College of Criminal Justice), I walk with pride and honor.

With the quality of education provided by LPU, my trust and confidence that this institution will continuously produce not only the best Police Officers but also Fire Officers and Jail Officers in the entire Province of Batangas. I salute the working force of LPU-Batangas for the untiring support to their students. I am thankful to you; I gained more confidence and received a lot of knowledge. I am a PROUD LYCEAN! #ButiNaLangNagLyceumAko.
