Albert Jay Valera (Criminology), Dorothy Joy Baer (Mass Communication), Jonimar Golisao (Business Administration), Mary Joy Capili (Business Administration) and Maicah Franchesca Pabularcon (Accountancy) brought honor to Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas (LPU-B) as they qualified for the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Leadership Journey Batch 7 (Region IV-A CALABARZON).

The Ninoy and Cory Aquino Leadership Journey was launched by the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation (NCAF) and the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Center for Leadership (NCACL) as their core youth formation program. The program invites youth leaders to undergo a three-day transformative experience and be living witnesses of leadership. This leadership journey aims to introduce models of leadership based on the lives of Ninoy and Cory Aquino, realize that spirituality, faith and love are values that anchor one’s life, build communal experiences in spirituality with other youth leaders and appreciate a life of sacrifice that is deeply rooted in one’s faith.

This achievement of the said LPU-B student leaders is a strong manifestation not only of the quality education that LPU-B provides but most importantly their commitment to become responsible leaders who are faithful to a life of service and mission through effective and impactful community work.

Deans Merwina Lou Bautista (Criminology), Amada Banaag (Education, Arts and Sciences), Galicano Del Mundo (Business Administration) and Alex Ylagan (Student Affairs) – who were also responsible in moulding the said student leaders – continue to develop and inspire potential leaders who are inspiration to the youth.
