LPU-B Research Director hailed Outstanding Filipino Research Leader

In recognition of her meritorious achievements, Dr. Reynalda B. Garcia, Executive Director of the Research and Statistics Center in Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas (LPU-B), was chosen by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, Inc. (PAIR), the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) and the Association of Institutional Research (AIR) as one of the Outstanding Filipino Research Leaders for year 2012.

Garcia was awarded for her leadership contributions in the advancement of research in the Philippines and beyond the borders in terms of organizing conferences and trainings, managing research publications, institutional partnerships, managing research programs, editorship of journals, speakership in major events, leadership in professional research organizations, reaping awards and distinctions, implementing funded research projects and publications in reputable peer reviewed journals.

Along with the other awardees – Dr. Rolando A. Alimen (Research Coordinator of John B. Lacson Maritime Foundation University – Molo), Dr. Emeliza T. Estimo (Research Coordinator of John B. Laczon College Foundation – Bacolod) and Jocelyn B. Panduyos (Research Director of Surigao del Sur State University), Garcia was formally awarded in Cagayan de Oro City.
