College Instructor For Marine Transportation:

Project Engineers

Responsibilities:

Job purpose

The position exists to handle the various duties and activities related to strategic and tactical operations of assigned SBU.  The position manages a team of professionals, engineers, technical staff, outsourced designers, consultants and contractors responsible for the construction of horizontal and vertical developments.  The position exercises considerable independent judgment that develops strategies for objectives, goals and general directions set by the Technical Head and represents the SBU on all internal as well as external executive management interfaces and communications related to project construction and development.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Plans, directs and manages the strategic and tactical development and construction activities of the SBU.  Manages a team of construction professionals, consultants, designers and contractors.
  • Provides overall strategic plans and directions to meet SBU objectives and goals.  Establishes priorities and assigns workloads.  Reviews the most critical and complex assignments.
  • Develops, reviews and approves new or improved project management procedures and processes to maintain economy and efficiency of department and company operations.  Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly with other functional and business groups to provide quality seamless customer service.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications
  • Preferably with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
  • With At least a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • With proven knowledge in:Procurement and cost engineering methods and procedures including buying, quality assurance, quantity surveying and contract administration.
  • Contract laws and obligations, rules, regulations and other requirements governing the purchases of various construction and non-construction commodities and services.
  • Project Management and supervision.
  • Accounting practices as applied to construction project management.
  • Office management principles, practices and procedures.
  • Have abilities to:Develop strategies to maintain economy and efficiency of department and company operations.
  • Interpret and make decisions in accordance with laws, rules, regulations and policies governing the purchases of commodities and services.
  • Communicate proficiently in the English language, both written and oral.
  • Produce written technical, progress, financial and market trend analyses and reports in the English language with clearly organized thoughts to effectively convey messages.

Building Accountant

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely submission of monthly financial statements and reports. It is also responsible for monitoring daily accounting transactions of the company.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
