postheadericon LPU-CITHM dominates Grand Culinary Challenge 2011

Lyceum of the Philippines University in Batangas, through its skilled contenders from the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM), gives justice to its long-time repute as one of the country’s most awarded HRM and Tourism school by emerging Over-all National Champion in the Grand Culinary Challenge 2011 held at the World Trade Center Manila.

 

LPU Batangas bested other competing schools from all over the Philippines after bagging 12 awards out of its 15 entries. These awards include:

 

FIRST PLACE

1.     Aries Cueto (Culinary Festival of Regional Cuisines)

2.     Kristine Mangundayao (Great Grill Challenge)

3.     Noelah Borbon (Creative Filipino Merienda Challenge)

4.     Mon Avila (Buffet Table Setting Challenge)

5.     Brian Javier (Grand Housekeeping Challenge)

 

SECOND PLACE

6.     Shallum Recto (Grand Bartending Challenge)

7.     Bryan Andal (Modern Asian Cuisine Challenge)

8.     RC Calayan, Stephanie Chong, Joy Manguiat (Dream Team Challenge)

 

THIRD PLACE

 

9.     Sarah De Claro (Modern Asian Cuisine Challenge)

10.  Kingsley De Silva (Great Grill Challenge)

11.  CaSz Mirano (Creative Filipino Merienda Challenge)

12.  Adriel Mendoza, Lester Saniel, Val Ybanez (GCC Waitering Olympics)

 

With this big achievement, CITHM is indeed back on track, and is set to give more national recognitions to the university.
