Four Lyceans top November 2011 Marine Deck Officers Board Exam
Just a week after its roster of topnotchers reached 204 from 202, Lyceum of the Philippines University in Batangas reaps another laurel as four (4) more topnotchers bring the figure to 208 with Lyceans topping the November 2011 Marine Deck Officers Board Exam.
At 90.40%, Don Kristoffer Bondad Godoy emerged Top 5 in the OIC-NW Licensure Exam, while Ronald Mercado was Top 6 at 90.20% and Gilbert Zara Garcia was Top 10 at 89.60%, same examination.
Meanwhile, Nelson Perez Mano got 84.40% and landed at rank 10 in the Chief Mate Licensure Exam.
The university’s Lyceum International Maritime Academy (LIMA) had a total of 3 new Master Mariners (100% passing rate versus 52% national passing rate), 4 new Chief Mates and 41 new OICs (75% passing rate versus 50% national passing rate) in the said licensure exam of marine deck officers.
Having topnotchers in consecutive board exams lately, LPU Batangas is indeed the best choice for maritime education.
