Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas successfully passed the Periodic Audit of its Quality Management System from its certifying body, Det Norske Veritas (DNV) last October 6-7, 2011. After the two-day scrutiny of documents, inspection of facilities and equipment and observation of classes, the auditors found Zero Non-Conformance or 100% compliance to ISO 9001:2008 Standard. The auditors also observed positive indications of effective implementation of instructional management system and effective implementation of loss control management systems which are the focus areas of this year’s audit. Along with these good results are the noteworthy efforts of different work units that are recognized by the DNV Auditors which revealed the university’s commitment for continuous improvement and for achievement of its objectives towards customer satisfaction.
