Description
The LPU-Batangas Center for Language Learning (CELL) is a facility that operates under the College of Education, Arts, and Sciences. It is responsible for the tutorial center, the DynEd and the Speech Laboratories. The center caters to all learners of the university as well as those from private or public institutions in their pursuit of improving their language proficiency with focus on English. Short intensive one-on-one courses are offered for beginners, intermediate, or advanced learners. Computer-assisted or teacher-led tutorials are held at the CELL Office, 3/F Jose P. Laurel Bldg., or in training rooms at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Capitol Site, Batangas City.

OTHER SHORT COURSES OFFERED: Basic French, Basic Spanish, Basic Japanese, Conversational English, Conversational Filipino (for foreigners)

To cater to all learners of the university as well as private or public institutions in the Asia Pacific region
To improve the learners’ English language proficiency
To assist all supervisors and other co-workers from all levels of learning (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
To monitor the use of the DynEd and Speech Laboratories
To assist the Human Resource Management and Development Office in training employees of the university
