As the year 2013 begins, Dr. Anacleta P. Valdez, Dean of LPU-B’s College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP) is set to receive international research recognition. She is this year’s Outstanding International Research Leader.

From the list of researchers who qualified for paper presentation and publication in the International Conference on Higher Education Research (ICHER) at JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia on January 21-23, 2012, the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) examined the curriculum vitae, traced the ORCID publication list, searched the citation gadgets for online citation of publications and H- Index, and surfed the web and Linkedin.com for current data.

Under the said process, IAMURE determined the higher achievers for the International Research Awards 2013. The criteria included publication track record, academic background, research awards, research presentations (local and foreign), trainings, leadership, and contribution to the home country and world community.

From there, IAMURE Awards Committee has selected Dr. Valdez as one of the winners for this year’s ICHER 2013, along with other winners from different countries all over the world.

Dr. Valdez has just received an Award of Recognition for her achievements in the fields of clinical pathology and medical technology during the Doctors’ Recognition Night of the Daniel Mercado Medical Center held in EDSA Shangrila Plaza, Makati. She was also recently elected as a member of the 2013-2014 Board of Trustees of the Philippine Council for Quality Assurance in Clinical Laboratories.
